Government Infrastructure

Governments play a key role in the circular transition, as they determine policy frameworks and guidelines. ECCBT supports municipalities, regi- ons, and other public authorities in embedding circularity into their policy and implementation practices. This includes developing guidelines for circular procurement and tendering, integrating circularity into spatial planning and permitting procedures, and providing knowledge and tools that enable civil servants to fulfill their role as drivers of change. In this way, government becomes a stable and reliable partner in the transition.
